The group also sings at other special services and presents several free concerts each year, both at Duke and elsewhere in the Triangle community. Duke Chapel Bach Choir Auditions

Auditions are now open to experienced singers in the Triangle region for Duke Chapel’s Bach Choir, which serves as the resident choral ensemble for 2017-2018 Bach Cantata Series, conducted by Philip Cave. Through this experience, singers from the Triangle region will have the opportunity to learn the cantatas of Johann Sebastian Bach and other master composers through a time-sensitive, rigorous rehearsal and performance process. The number of singers for each month will vary depending on the musical requirements of each program.

For more information, or to schedule an audition, please contact the director of the ensemble, Philip Cave, at philip.cave@duke.edu or 919-684-3855.
