The Concert Singers of Cary is holding auditions for singers of all voice parts. Entering its 27th season, Concert Singers boasts a 100-voice symphonic choir and a 35-voice Chamber Choir.  Rehearsing on Monday evenings at the Cary Arts Center, Concert Singers performs music from across the choral spectrum in a variety of styles, and regularly collaborates with the North Carolina Symphony, the Chamber Orchestra of the Triangle, the North Carolina Baroque Orchestra, Mallarme Chamber Players, and the Moonlighters Orchestra. Auditions will be August 22, 28, 29, and September 5. After 26 successful seasons under leadership of Founding Artistic Director, Larry Speakman, Concert Singers is happy to announce the appointment of Dr. Nathan Leaf as the new Artistic Director starting this season. Highlights of the 2017-18 season will include Messiah with period instruments, Fauré’s Requiem, an appearance at the annual Diwali Festival in Cary, an October gala concert, and much more.
