The Triangle area’s premier barbershop chorus since 1975, featuring men of all ages who love to sing four-part a cappella harmony, meet new friends and develop great relationships.
Oak City Voices is a new, women’s chorus in the Triangle area. We will be performing a richly varied repertoire from swing to folk, and from classical to contemporary. Our goal is to identify exemplary works, promote them, and embrace our love of music through song. Each concert series includes two performances at assisted living facilities free of charge, and a performance for the public, for which we charge admission. We also perform at community events as the members’ schedules allow.
The Saint Francis Choir of Saint Francis United Methodist Church sings a variety of sacred music and plays an integral role in worship. This group sings regularly in the 8:30 or 11:00 Sunday worship. They also do outreach performances in the community and perform public concerts. This ensemble is non-auditioned and open to all.
St. Paul’s Choir is a volunteer choir that sings for 11:15 am worship on Sundays, and for all l holy days and other special events at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Cary. Grounded in the Anglican traditional of music, the repertoire is varied and covers hundreds of years of excellent sacred choral music from the English Tudor period to present day. The choir performs an annual Lessons and Carols Service and has recorded a CD of Advent and Christmas music, “A Babe is Born.” All singers with a solid musical background are welcome to join.
VocalMotion is an all-volunteer adult show choir that has delighted audiences in the Triangle for over 20 years. Thanks to the generous sponsorship of SAS, 100% of the donations we collect are given to our selected local charity.
