The TriangleSings ensemble directory is where you will find active choral groups in the Triangle and Triad regions of North Carolina. You can find ensembles that regularly hold auditions or otherwise invite participation by the community at large. You can also find professional and invitation-only ensembles that may be available to perform for your next big event.

The Duke Chapel Evensong Singers was formed in 2015 and offers the service of Choral Evensong many Sunday afternoons at 4pm throughout the academic year. The service of Evensong, steeped in Anglican tradition, typically lasts about 45 minutes and is mostly sung by the choir, with music drawn primarily from the great repertoire of music written for English cathedrals and collegiate chapels.
The Durham Children’s Choir is a diverse chorus, representing all the many ethnic and racial groups in the Durham area. Founded in 2004, it is open by audition to all children. Beginning with the 2011-2012 season, the Durham Children’s Cantare Choir serves as a training choir for younger singers (3rd-6th graders), to prepare them for the DCC, which is open to 4th-9th graders.
Founded in 1987, the Durham Community Chorale is a community choral group that gives people who have a love for singing an opportunity to perform a variety of choral music. There is a Holiday concert and a spring concert each year.
This homegrown theatre troupe was created in 1963 out of love for that perfect combination of W. S. Gilbert’s satire and Arthur Sullivan’s sparkling music. The Savoyards take their name from London’s Savoy Theatre, where many Gilbert and Sullivan operattas were first produced. Performing the complete G&S canon in repertoire, the company has cultivated a large, diverse audience across the Triangle and beyond.
The Chancel Choir of Edenton Street United Methodist Church is committed to singing the very finest in sacred choral literature. In addition to leading in Sunday worship services, the choir also performs major works and concerts throughout the year.
WHO: Hello! We are looking for people who love to sing, ages 11-19 years old.
WHAT: This group strives to share the joy of singing with supportive peers and our community. It is completely FREE for students, and provides valuable opportunities to learn, and collaborate with other vocalists in the area.
WHEN: Participation will include weekly practice (Fridays at 4:30), and 5-6 performance events (details TBA).

A nonprofit community-service-oriented show choir. The purpose is to delight others with short performances comprised of song and dance. The ensemble usually presents two concerts per year and performs at retirement homes, community events, women’s correctional center and benefits for causes the Encore Singers wish to support. Membership requirements are “enthusiasm and love of singing.”
The Fearrington Village Singers is a joint chorus made up of women and men living in Fearrington Village and Galloway Ridge, located between Chapel Hill and Pittsboro, NC. In addition to the joint chorus, the women members sing as the Village Voices and the men members sing as the Harmony Grits. No auditions are required for membership. The Greensboro Community Women's Chorus is a non-auditioned outreach vocal ensemble open to any female in the Greensboro area. Focused on providing music to those who may not be able to regularly attend concerts, the Greensboro Community Women's Chorus performs at local nursing and assisted living facilities, hospitals, and religious venues. The fall/holiday season runs October-December with weekly performances in December, and the spring season runs February-May with weekly performances in April and May. The Greensboro Community Women’s Chorus sings a wide variety of music including sacred, folk, and show tunes.
The Greensboro Community Chorus rehearses weekly on Tuesday mornings at 10:30am in the choir room of Christ UMC in Greensboro.
Greensboro Opera is dedicated to presenting fully staged grand opera as well as educational outreach performances, in collaboration with local universities, music festivals and other performing groups.
