The TriangleSings chorus directory is where you will find active choral groups that regularly hold auditions or otherwise invite participation by the community at large. While invitation-only or professional smaller ensembles are not listed in this directory, their events may be found on our events calendar, audition calendar, or blog.

Founded in 1987, the Durham Community Chorale is a community choral group that gives people who have a love for singing an opportunity to perform a variety of choral music. There is a Holiday concert and a spring concert each year.
This homegrown theatre troupe was created in 1963 out of love for that perfect combination of W. S. Gilbert’s satire and Arthur Sullivan’s sparkling music. The Savoyards take their name from London’s Savoy Theatre, where many Gilbert and Sullivan operattas were first produced. Performing the complete G&S canon in repertoire, the company has cultivated a large, diverse audience across the Triangle and beyond.
The Chancel Choir of Edenton Street United Methodist Church is committed to singing the very finest in sacred choral literature. In addition to leading in Sunday worship services, the choir also performs major works and concerts throughout the year.
A nonprofit community-service-oriented show choir. The purpose is to delight others with short performances comprised of song and dance. The ensemble usually presents two concerts per year and performs at retirement homes, community events, women’s correctional center and benefits for causes the Encore Singers wish to support. Membership requirements are “enthusiasm and love of singing.”
The Fearrington Village Singers is a joint chorus made up of women and men living in Fearrington Village and Galloway Ridge, located between Chapel Hill and Pittsboro, NC. In addition to the joint chorus, the women members sing as the Village Voices and the men members sing as the Harmony Grits. No auditions are required for membership. Greensboro Opera is dedicated to presenting fully staged grand opera as well as educational outreach performances, in collaboration with local universities, music festivals and other performing groups.
Happytones’ Senior Chorus is affiliated with the Roy B. Culler Senior Center of Excellence in High Point. Accompanied by a pianist and drummer, the group has been rehearsing and performing in the Triad area for the since 1997. The chorus performs show tunes and some gospel, and design their repertoire mainly for seniors who are confined and cannot get out to enjoy the thrills and memories associated with beautiful music.
The Central Carolina Chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society is home to the Heart of Carolina A Cappella, founded in 2005. The group sings 4-8 part a cappella harmony in a number of styles, focusing on performance excellence. Members are from throughout the Triangle area; the group is open to anyone of good character with superb singing skills and a desire to perform in public and in competition.
Through the power of choral performances, Heart of the Triad Choral Society embraces and encourages a welcoming environment built on diverse programming, networking, and outreach.
Heart of the Triad Choral Society is a community choir made up of singers from all over the Piedmont Triad. The choir rehearses each Thursday from 7-9:00pm at Main Street United Methodist Church. 306 S Main St., Kernersville, NC 27284
