Openings for Paid Section Leaders
Holy Trinity Anglican Church in downtown Raleigh is looking for choir section leaders for soprano, alto, and bass. Responsibilities include attending selected choir rehearsals and selected Sunday morning services, to include about ten pairings for each of fall and spring semesters. Section leaders will occasionally lead a sectional rehearsal. Thursday rehearsals are 7:00 to 8:30 p.m., and Sunday services are 8:45 and 11:00, with call time a half hour before each. There may be further opportunities to sing with a smaller ensemble occasionally, with additional remuneration. These positions will pay $100 for each Thursday/Sunday pairing. Baritone Needed for Mendelssohn’s “Vom Himmel hoch”
Baritone singer sought for two solos and chorus work in Mendelssohn’s “Vom Himmel hoch” in mid-December. Must be able to attend a rehearsal on Thursday, December 13, 7:30 pm to 9pm and the performance itself on Sunday, December 16, at 11am. The performance and rehearsal will take place at Guilford Park Presbyterian Church, located at 2100 Fernwood Drive, Greensboro. Honorarium is negotiable. Part Time Music Director
Unity Center of Peace, a progressive spiritual community in Chapel Hill, needs a part-time Music Director to manage and expand our Sunday morning music program. Looking for a versatile musician who can engage and interact with the congregation. Responsibilities: choose appropriate repertoire, play piano, sing, accompany vocalists, create charts, collaborate with the music team, and hire/lead a small band.
